3 Day School - Intermediate and Advanced
(Includes a playing lesson at end of the school)
Day
1
We start off inside the golf school with an introduction
and discussion between students and instructor on the student’s
level of play, amount of play and goals the student would like
to accomplish during his/her school. The students are taken out
and video taped while hitting balls with a mid iron. Back inside
the viewing room, the instructor reviews the tape with the student
to determine which aspects of the full swing they will be working
on and why, and how this work will achieve the desired results.
Afterwards, the students are taken back out to the practice tee
and given drills to start them on their course to improvement.
The remaining time will be spent working on these drills.
Day 2
Students start off on the practice tee with drills
from day one. After
Approximately an hour of work on the full swing, the instructor
will change to the short game, pitching, bunker shots, chipping
and putting. Each student’s technique is video taped and
towards the end of the class we return to the viewing room to
review the tape. They will observe the changes which have taken
place and receive an action plan to continue improving their game.
Day 3 – Playing lesson
Taking it to the course
On day 3 we initially we meet on the driving range
to warm up. We then go on to the golf course for our On-Course
Instruction. You and your instructor will focus on how to apply
what you have learned on the practice area from the previous 2
days. Including keeping your ball in play, hitting more greens
in regulation and making more 1-putts using your new green reading
skills. And as an added bonus, you'll discover how to keep yourself
mentally consistent throughout the 9 holes so you'll avoid those
"blow-up holes" that ruin your score.
After your On-Course Instruction we go into the
clubhouse for a review of your round in a sociable environment,
which includes drinks. We breakdown your on-Course instruction
and speak about what you did well and what we need to work on.
As you have a chance to sit-down and reflect on the day, you'll
most likely think of questions to ask your Instructor. This is
a valuable hour to devote to your golf game!
